Strategic Plan

In Fall 2006, Technology Services completed Avenues to Renewal, a strategic technology plan. Avenues to Renewal presented a campus-wide process for funding and prioritizing technology needs supported through centralized services. We are pleased to announce a Call for Technology Project Funding for FY 09.

This is a three step process:

1. Project Review
Members of the Avenues to Renewal Working Group will select ten projects for review and invite applicants to discuss their proposed project in person on 6 December 2007. Presentation sessions will be scheduled for 15-20 minutes and are intended to be informal question and answer opportunities about project implementation goals. The Technology Leadership Group will also review selected projects for their technical feasibility.

2. Project Recommendations
Projects recommended for funding will then be prioritized by the Working Group based on how well each furthers the mission of the university as identified in the Renewal Plan and the strategic goals set out in the Technology Services strategic plan.

3. Project Funding Selection
Prioritized projects will be presented to the Executive Steering Committee who will make the final decision on which projects will be funded.

No new projects will be added once the current year's list of projects is finalized.

FY 08 Funded Projects
